I entered as a beginner-intermediate student and left feeling really solid... read more about catching waves, doing pocket turns, and riding the line. The board they put me on was great as well. Ramse’s knowledge of the ocean and his home conditions were indispensable, and he set me up to catch as many waves as I had the stamina for! Several other local surfers told us that he’s the best instructor in Rincón, and while I didn’t try others, I’m sure that is the case. I’d recommend Ramse for every level of student (he had extremely good advice for the novices present on my first day) including experts who want to surf with a local.
