Group lessons w/ Ramse everyone stood up! - Ramse was our instructor in Rincon January 2020. He was totally awesome, very patient with each person and actually teaches you how to read the waves and feel the difference... read more between right and wrong.
We went as a group of 6 friends at different experience and skill levels, but everyone was able to stand on the first day, either on the first time or after just a few tries.
Ramse is an incredible instructor. You can tell he truly loves the ocean and wants to help others learn to appreciate and respect our beaches/oceans, as well as surfing etiquette in general.
In total, we had Ramse coach us for 3 sessions in one week starting at 7am (highly recommend, if you’re going to Maria’s beach). After those 3 lessons, I was able to rent boards and go out on my own with the ability to surf without Ramse’s extra push and just saying “paddle, paddle, paddle!” in my head. I’m extremely grateful for my new found love of surfing and it’s quickly becoming an addiction!

He was attentive and careful of... read more their whereabouts. Surfing in Maria beach is a delightful experience but you need a guide to have a good 1st experience and avoid the rocky parts.
